noticed these drops near the door of the 55406 post office today. sure looked like blood.


then about 5 feet away i saw this, so yep, blood it is. looks like a the person used a napkin or papertowel to sop it up.

a couple of months ago there was an unwrapped, but unused condom in the rocks like 2 feet away from where the blood napkin was today.

i noticed this tagging on wednesday, and THAT actually is what kinda put in my mind to do a photo blog thing.

i'm of two minds re: tagging. 1 - public sorta property like underpasses, bridges, telephone poles, shit like are things that i guess i don't really have a prob with people leaving their marks on. oh, and train cars too, cuz some of that shit is v nice. ( i know A LOT of people will disagree with that, but that's just how i feel about it). 2 - personal property, tho, is totally different. those cocksuckers need to leave THAT shit alone. really. just fuck right off. there's NO call for defacing some individual's or group's shit. especially something as benign as a super cool sign at a community garden.

ended up at the hopkins goodwill, was looking through the books, and wondered how there are 2 random books in sanskrit between danielle steele and joe eszterhas. WEIRD!

also grabbed these skates, but didn't have a backpack or bag with me, and couldn't find a good one at the gw, so did this:

THAT didn't work so well, as i kept smashing my knees into them, so i stopped at the target that's right off the trail in slp (i think), and after almost buying a clearanced "cars" back pack, decided on this large cloth bag thing that was in with the purses. it worked GREAT!

so i can't imagine that this is intended to be offendingto the store's customers since there are MANY hispanics (or isit latinos? sorry, but i'm not up on the politically correctterms to be used to describe groups of poeple) that shop atthis store, but it just struck ME as sorta weird.

is the dude in some sort of cheese induced coma? or is he just sleepy? either way, what does it have to do with cheese?

so here's the deal...

i'm out and about a lot in south minneapolis. more specifically in the longfellow, seward, powderhorn, and phillips neighborhoods, and the greenway.

i figured that since i'm always noticing stuff while i'm out, why not snap a picture of anything that i see that strikes me as cool, or sad, or suprising, or shitty, or whatever.

the plan is to post like picture or two each day, and post it here. sometimes with commentary, sometimes not. sometimes they'll from a phone camera, sometimes from a "real" digital camera, so the quality will vary.
